1/2 oz Campari
1 oz fresh squeezed orange juice
2 oz champagne
orange slice for garnish
In a wine glass half full of ice, add the ingredients in this order: vermouth, Campari, orange juice and the champagne. No need to stir.
The Campari gives this drink a very distinct, peppery taste that leaves a lingering bitter taste which gives it a complex flavor. A bit too serious for me.
