2 oz gin
3/4 oz honey syrup
1/2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
Fill a shaker 2/3 of the way with ice. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon wheel.
How to make the honey syrup:
Combine equal parts water and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until completely combined. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Refrigerate for up to one week.
Besides having a kick arse name, this little number is refreshing, not-too-sweet and simply decadent. Also try the Bee's Kiss, one of my top five favorites.

I like the name too. And lemon and honey sound divine. You can have as many favorites as you want! That always leaves room for new favorites.
What kind of gin do you recommend? I haven't had any. Sssh...I'm practically a teetotaler. I feel so inept going into a liquor store.
I decided I'll have one drink a month to be social and fun & there's still time left for September.
August's drink was a mojito I made myself. Juice from 2 key limes with 1T Demerara sugar, generous serving of 1/2 cal lime Rum over ice, splash of sparkling water and lots of fresh mint.
July's drink was a "Wimbledon Pimm's"(with apple, cucumber...)that Eric's coworker made for me.
Gin rec: Tanqueray is the best bang for your dolla.
